Hurlstandz was founded as a student enterprise company in 2018 by three school friends, Noah, Simon and Mark. Located in Laois, in the middle of Ireland, we have designed and are manufacturing our wall-mounted stands for hurls and helmets – keeping hurlers happy everywhere.
We won the Laois heat of the LEO Student Business Awards in March 2019 and we were placed second overall in the National Student Enterprise Finals in Croke Park in May 2019!

We are 3 students, Mark Ramsbottom, Simon Fingleton and Noah Fingleton, active players in our local Park Ratheniska GAA club.
We joined Ratheniska National School together and having finished primary school, we went on to St Mary’s CBS Portlaoise. We started this company in our transition year in school and having won the Laois heat, we then represented our county in the All-Irelands. We came second in the senior category of the Student Enterprise Awards, beating some very strong competition.
Currently we sell 2 products: A twin rack hurl stand and a triple rack hurl stand. We also offer customised products as special orders.
